A page about me. How about that? Wait, where are you going?

Would you believe me if I told you that advertising is my second career? Well, it's true. I got my start in the music business at the age of 15 and spent years as a recording artist, producer, A&R rep, and label president. I was classically trained at the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music in New York City and spent several years in the music industry.

At the age of 17, I also became one of the pioneers in the online services space, having designed, built, and launched two popular online services which paved the way for AOL and the Internet.

Pioneer? Who knew?

Today, I'm a social anthropologist, futurist, brand strategist, podcaster, and advertising agency principal with over 20 years of marketing communications experience.

I'm known to be radical or even controversial at times. That's because I push the limits at all times and prefer to challenge my clients than to be an order taker.

I am also the producer and host of Wagner Live, a podcast and live streaming show that takes an honest and provocative look into the world of business and marketing. Prior to The Wagner Agency, I started and ran Beloved, an award-winning advertising, and experiential marketing agency and previously honed additional expertise from Sony Masterworks and agency powerhouses Momentum Worldwide (IPG), GMR Marketing (Omnicom), and Havas Impact. It has been my privilege to partner with such international brands as Coca-Cola, Google, Dell, Target, Ford, Sprint, SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment, Autograph Collection Hotels, and Hilton Hotels & Resorts, among many others. In my spare time (insert sarcasm) am also a partner in a new technology company and an online fashion retailer.

Through my career journey, I have been awarded with multiple American Advertising Awards, recognized as a 2010 “Most Influential Businessmen” nominee by the Orlando Business Journal, a past president of the American Advertising Federation-Orlando, and regularly profiled in the Orlando Business Journal.
